N.S.W Joinery Pty.
Ltd. was established in October 1977, the first factory being in Gartmore
Ave Bankstown NSW. It started as a very small sized company, and
progressed over the years to a medium sized company, employing
approximately 30 people at it's peak. The main work at this time was
bullet-proofing and fitting out of major Australian banks, such as
Commonwealth Bank, Westpac and National Australia Bank.
In July 1983, we purchased and moved into our present location in Yamma St
Sefton. Having larger premises, we included in our works major fitouts of
offices, Government departments, and various local councils, such as
Botany, Strathfield and Marrickville. The work included large counters,
demountable partitions, gyprock partitions, high class office furniture
including fitting out of the Mayor's private chambers.
Due to the work load, we were forced in July 1988 to purchase the
adjoining factory, thus doubling our factory size. This enabled us to
include detail furniture and restoration work to our ever increasing
variety of work. Just a few of the projects completed to date was the
restoration of the Haymarket Library for Sydney Council, various joinery
items for Sydney Town Hall - including traditional office furniture for
the Mayor of Sydney's office. We also completed projects such as various
joinery items for the Sydney Botanical Gardens, restoration of bank
counters, and joinery items for the Commonwealth Bank on the corner of
Pitt St and Martin Pl Sydney.
As one can see, N.S.W. Joinery have a wealth of experience in all types
of joinery and furniture manufacturing, and we feel there is no limit to
what N.S.W. Joinery can produce while maintaining high quality at a
competitive price.
